College Magician & Campus Entertainment

Colleges & universities

Students put their phones down. That is the whole review.

Clean, genuinely funny comedy magic for orientation, family weekend, late night programming and campus traditions. Interactive, quotable, and safe for a mixed audience of students, staff and parents.

What works on a campus

It has to be funny first.

Students have seen everything on a screen and are impossible to impress with technique alone. What still works is being genuinely funny, putting them in the show, and giving them something they will argue about on the walk home.

01

They are in the show

Volunteers from the audience, on their feet, doing things they will be quoted on for the rest of term.

Best forOrientation, welcome week

02

Clean without being tame

Safe for family weekend and for an admissions audience, sharp enough that a room of students does not feel patronised.

Best forFamily weekend

03

It travels light

No lighting rig, no set, minimal tech. A microphone and a space to stand is genuinely enough, which makes it easy on your AV crew.

Best forLate night, lounges

The practical side

Easy on the people running it.

Campus programming boards are usually students doing this around a full course load. Everything here is designed so booking me creates as little work as possible for whoever is organising it.

Where I go

Available nationwide. No travel charge within about two hours of Orlando; further afield, travel is added to the quote and agreed up front.

Nationwide

Why me

Two seasons of America’s Got Talent, and a room I have to win every week.

The television credits get attention: two seasons of America’s Got Talent, a featured spot on HBO and MAX, where SNL’s Heidi Gardner said I was better than David Blaine. What actually matters for a campus booking is that I perform weekly at a dinner show in Orlando for people who did not come to see me, which is the same job as a student union at nine o’clock on a Tuesday.
